Patent trolls had come to the public of United States as a serious problem since the increase of frequency for patent lawsuits that private innovative firms are facing and that the magnitude of costs that the private sectors argue would cause a large impact against the countries over all development that is dependent on consistent innovation invested partly by the private sectors. As such, the researcher study consists of identifying the element that constitutes patent trolls as a threat to U.S. private inovation and compare whether the impact can severely deter Philippine development as well through impact against the private innovative firms of the country.
