Live and give is a short documentary that focuses on the life of Lin Arafol, a caregiver and widowed mother of four who also carries the responsibilty of being the breadwinner of her family. She is able to provide for her children by caring for her patients and embodies the concept of someone who lives to give. Her innate longing to spread love doubled by her uplifting persona allows her to tend to her patients needs in both physical and mental states-- helping them with their various ailments and disabilities, keeping them company in their mostly inactive lifestyles whilst boosting their self confidence for recovery. As a caregiver and mother, Lin spends most of her time with patients to earn a meager living for her children. This has often made her feel guilty about not being able to be there for her family in times of need. Despite being so, Lin continues to be someone who consistently emanates an aura of positivity despite the trials and difficulties that she has to deal with in work and at home. She is an individual who represents thousands of others who deserve credit for what they do-finding fulfillment in their lives by living it to give to others.
