Description
Summary:Commute is a collection of poems that deals with defamiliarizing the act of commuting by turning the reader's gaze away from the violence of the streets. Using personal experiences on the road, the collection talks about the things people don't see when they commute the things they have ignored already. Using Modernism's perspective of looking at things from the streets. Elizabeth Bishop's descriptive technique and the fast paced sytle of Franz Libo-on, commute contains stream of consciousness styled poems that aim to create a strong impression to the readers with their poetic imagery.
