The importance of relationships in our life is that they literally shape us (Valles, 1992). Not only does the story touch on several relevant topics that we face today, but it is also as real as it gets. For one, we will clearly see how family is the main unit in our society. A family doesn't necessarily have to comprise of a father, mother and child. A family may now just consist of one parent and the child. It could be a guardian and a child. A group of friends living together. But, in this study, I will attempt to describe how a seemingly normal family set-up including its dysfunctionalities could affect a person's wellbeing. We will see what relationships are like and what they really mean, how communication strongly plays a role in making things work between two people who have nothing to do with each other, except for their child. Communication is the soul of relationship. And it is becoming a forgotten art in an age when communication media are teaching us how not to communicate (Valles, 1992). It will slightly show how all that's happening to a person can trigger depression attacks and in turn affect how a person behaves and functions, particularly how it affects parenting styles. 2018-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/2954 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Families in motion pictures Parent and child in motion pictures Communication in motion pictures Communication
