Anna This study was done primarily to find out the perceived functions of marriage among a group of respondents from Makati, Quezon City, San Juan, and Manila. It further tried to determine if the sex, marital status, socio-economic status and generation of the respondent significantly affect his/her perception of the function of marriage. There was a total of 108 respondents, divided equally among the strata based on the combination of the four criteria which were sex, marital status, socio-economic status and generation. A self-constructed questionnaire was employed as the instrument of this study. The data obtained were subjected to the Chi-Square Test. Results showed that sex, marital status, socio-economic status and generation do not affect the respondents' perception of the functions of marriage. Hypotheses were then formulated based on these results. 1982-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/3206 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Marriage--Philippines Psychology
