The findings of the study revealed that the characteristics manifested by the subjects tend to be similar to Maslow's 15 characteristics. There are 10 additional unique characteristics of Filipino self-actualizers. Generally, self-disclosure was found to be the most common coping strategy among them which was under combative coping in Matheney's model.
