Trinidad Water quality analysis involving physico-chemical and biological parameters of Hinulugang Taktak in Antipolo, Rizal was done from September to November of 1993. The water samples were collected from different sampling sites of the river. The results showed that the water temperature ranged from 26.5 centigrade to 28.0 centigrade while the pH readings ranged from 6.4 to 8.0 and the conductivity readings ranged from 195 umhos/cm to 410 umhos/cm. The dissolved oxygen ranged from 6.0 mg/1 to 11 mg/1. The nitrate concentration ranged from 0.15 mg/1 to 0.55 mg/1. For bacteria the highest Most Probable Number (MPN) as a measure of the Total Coliform Count was 1100/100 ml (September) and the lowest MPN was 0/100 ml (November). There was also a decreasing trend on the phytoplankton density from September to November. Based on the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Administrative Order No. 34 for the water quality of Protected Waters Category 11 Class B Old Existing Industry, the values obtained for the dissolved oxygen (mg/1) and the total coliform count were below the standard of 70 mg/1 and 5000/100 ml sample, respectively. The values obtained for the phosphate concentration (mg/1) were above the standard of 0.1 mg/1. The values obtained for the pH lies within the standard of pH 6.0 to 9.0 recommended by the DENR. 1994-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/3838 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Water--Analysis Water quality--Philippines--Antipolo Biology
