The number, length and width of the representative leaves were observed under the different treatments such as volcanic cinder / charcoal + water, volcanic cinder / charcoal + 14-14-14 fertilizer and volcanic cinder / charcoal + Hoagland's solution and days of observation. A control group which consisted of plants grown in soil treated with water was also included.
