Fabrication via citrate method and characterization of ruthenium-doped Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-Oxide superconductors

The fabrication by citrate method and characterization of Ruthenium doped BSCCO superconductors has been studied. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the coexistence of the low-Tc and high-Tc phases in all the samples. A high-Tc and phase volume fraction of about 60% was found in the sample sintered...

Kagahastian, Michelle U. The fabrication by citrate method and characterization of Ruthenium doped BSCCO superconductors has been studied. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the coexistence of the low-Tc and high-Tc phases in all the samples. A high-Tc and phase volume fraction of about 60% was found in the sample sintered in air for 72 hours and with nominal composition B12Sr2Ca2Cu3-xRuxOy. Electrical resistivity measurement of this sample showed an offset transition temperature Tc 100 K and the transition width (ATC) was found to be about 15 K. SEM analysis revealed that the average grain size of this sample is about 5 10 um. EDX analysis showed that the ruthenium peaks overlapped with the bismuth peaks. 1998-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/4509 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Ruthenium oxide superconductors Physics
