The Museo Pambata is the first children's museum in the Philippines. It is a hands-on discovery museum where children can learn and explore new things in a fun environment. Being the only interactive children's museum in the Philippines, Museo Pambata faces the difficulty in gaining audience and patrons. One of the factors that contribute to this problem is the physical distance between the children and the museum. Museo Pambata intends to bridge this gap. With this in mind, a website was developed in order to achieve the museum's goal, which is to reach as many children as possible in the aid to promote learning. The website uses originally produced materials such as photographs and graphics. The text, some photographs, and other graphics were provided for by the organization. The website contains background information about the museum, its programs, activities, and services. The main feature of the website is the online tour, which stimulates an actual visit to the museum. Aside from stimulating an actual visit to the Museo Pambata, the website also provides children, parents and teachers access to the many different activities, programs and services that Museo Pambata offers in the aim to further a child's learning experience. 1999-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/4355 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Museo Pambata (Philippines)--Computer network resources, Web sites—Design, Children's museums--Philippines--Computer network resources Communication |
