Summary: | This study is conducted to determine whether the four attachment style predictors can influence a single young adult male's willingness to marry. One hundred one single male college students participated in this study 21of which are from DLSU-CSB and 80 are from DLSU-Manila whose ages range from 15-27 years of age. Each participant was given a set of survey questionnaires, one is the researcher's self-constructed willingness to marry scale and the other is adapted from Batholomew's Relationship Scale Questionnaire. Multiple Regression Analysis was utilized to determine if the attachment style predictors can be considered a predictor of willingness to marry. The results show that only the fearful attachment style showed significance as a predictor to a single young adult male's willingness to marry. |
