It started its operations in December, 2003 as a data-entry company but has expanded its services to offer desktop & electronic publishing, document managing and other IT services. Currently, the company has three clients. These include Solutions People Technologies (SPI), DDC IDCSI, and Development Bank of the Philippines' (DBP) Data Center, Inc. (DCI). The data conversion process varies for each type of project that ANeLCI handles. The EEBO and PD-Annarbor projects involve 15th to 17th century archives, while the Elsevier and Podebook projects involve journal articles.";"Based on the analysis of the current system using SWOT Analysis, WOT-SURG and other tools, it was found that from May 2005 to April 2006, the average accuracy for converted EEBO files as per client quality audit reports is 99.9564, which is 0.0386 lower than that of the agreed standard of 99.995. Using a why-why diagram to point out the true causes of the problem, it was discovered that unfamiliarity of ANeLCI workers with old English text and conventions, errors in sampling, software usability and lack of client feedback were the true causes of the problem. KTDA was used to generate solutions that meet the needs and wants of the company and two 4 step systems were developed to address the problem. The first system proposes the implementation of an improved training program for encoders, the introduction of validation macros to be utilized by QA personnel, a 20% increase in the sample size from 10% to 30% and the implementation of regular discussion of the client QA reports while the second system proposes the introduction of a spelling and grammar check macro, a new training program for QA personnel, a 40% increase in the sample size from 10% to 50% and the implementation of post in-house QA reports. A usability study was also conducted to generate improvements for the software the company currently uses.
