Description
Summary:Organizational development is an effort to improve an organization in order to increase effectiveness. Lunduyan Foundation identified a communication problem, which is the over familiarity between its members influencing how they relate during work that is apparently affecting their efficiency. This study is a diagnosis that aimed to confirm this problem and if the issue of familiarity is the cause. The method was based on Edgar Schein's Process Consultation Model. Results showed that the issue of familiarity is present but it does not directly cause the problem. It creates a culture that tolerates informal behavior leading to inefficiency and a certain degree of ineffectiveness. Based on this, a collaborative intervention that intends to improve Lunduyan's internal communication system was proposed.
