On counting trash in poker
This thesis is an exposition of the work of J.E. Iiams [6]. Setting practical and ideal constraints, it provides different techniques in counting trash hands significant in finding optimal game parameters. We also look at the work of Y.L. Cheung [2] to understand why poker is played with five cards....
