Summary:This study investigates the person-environment fit of Filipino soldiers. It examined the existence of the Filipino personality traits based from the taxonomy of the Panukat ng Ugali at Pagkatao (PUP) instrument, which is specific to the Filipino culture, and what type of soldiers are expected to have such traits, as well as what traits these soldiers already have. Six (6) interviews were done. The subjects of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Results show that Filipino soldiers have ten (10) of PUP personality traits were found in the analysis of the data, which help the individuals fit in this kind of environment.
