In this study, the researchers developed a mobile application that provided drivers a real-time parking availability counter that informed the drivers of the current availability of the parking area within the considered limitation of this study. The researchers set-up a mechanically operated ultrasonic sensors that observed and tallied the actual count of the cars that entered end exited the parking facility. The data gathered were directed to a mobile application that the users viewed. Followed by an impact analysis on the effectiveness and efficiency of the parking experience of the users through a comparison of the data to the past parking index studies on the assigned parking facilities Br.
