It is during this period that adolescents essentially set out ot choose their careers. There are various factors that contribute to one's decision on which path to take. The current research aims to explore the role of parental involvement in the process of choosing a career among adolescents. Using a qualitative approach, this study investigates senior high school student's perceptions of parental involvement as a contributing factor to their career decision-making. Semi-structured interviews with Filipino senior high school students were conducted and results are tackled. A descriptive qualitative design using thematic analysis brought out themes and new findings to the study.
