Macalino, Anne Marie C. Zaide, Patricia J. The video documentary Lights, Camera, Action is about the effects of showbusiness on the priorities, interests and way of thinking of child stars who have entered the said industry between the ages of 2 to 8 years old. Interviews with four child stars, namely: John and Camille Prats, Aiza Seguerra and Nino Muhlach are shown in the documentary. The entire documentary is divided into three parts in order to show how showbusiness has affected the four child stars. This is based on the number of years they have been in the industry. The following segments are: (1) John and Camille Prats-2 years, (2) Aiza Seguerra - 8 years and (3) Nino Muhlach - 21 years. Interviews with the parents of the child stars are also shown so as to compare the perception of both sides (parent and child) toward showbusiness. The Filipino language was used in the voice-over narration and interviews. The proponents made use of the HI-8 camera for the interviews and the V-8 camera for the footages. The project was edited using the Super VHS format. The running time is 20 minutes. 1995-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/5847 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Children as actors Children in motion pictures Child development Environment and children Documentary television programs Broadcast and Video Studies
