Description
Summary:Creating short stories gives people the opportunity to user their imagination to write about characters, creatures, and places that they often dream about. These stories can give the benefit of inspiration and learning of moral lessons to some. But not all stories are perfect. Mistakes and errors in grammar, spelling, and the use of incomplete story structures block the way for the story to become interesting. The system is a short evaluator that helps children aged 9-10 create their own short stories by giving comments and pinpointing grammatical, spelling, and missing short story elements in the draft they submit to the system. An interactive interface guides users in providing the information required to complete their story. This research involves interviewing some educators to identify how children aged 9-10 develop or create their own stories, as well as to determine the feedback techniques to support these children in their story writing endeavor.
