Summary:Ethical awareness of graduating accountancy students of University of the Philippines, De La Salle University, and University of Santo Tomas was tested in this paper to verify if ethics education is a factor in the perception of ethical practices. The results of the study suggest that there exist a significant difference in the ethical awareness computed by using a one way analysis of variance. Scheffe Test was utilized to discern it the variances are significant among groups. Ethics education is found to be a factor in the ethical awareness of graduating accountancy students. Recommendations were focused on further expansion of the study by including more universities and that this is used as a benchmark for future researches on ethics education.
