The descriptive-correlational design was used. In measuring intelligence, the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised (WAIS-R) block design and arithmetic tests were used. The Heston Personal Adjustment Inventory was also used to measure six components of personal adjustment namely - analytical thinking, emotional stability, sociability, confidence, personal relations and home satisfaction. Results showed that fluid intelligence is predicted by years of education, age and home satisfaction while crystallized intelligence is predicted by education, home satisfaction, personal relations and analytical thinking. There is also an age-related change in fluid intelligence.
