Due to this mistake the relationship of peer and family relations to alcohol abuse was not established. Instead, relationship ratings of youth towards their peers and family were produced from the results. The said result of the study may still beneficial and may be used for further studies concerning the intimacy and communications of youth's relationship towards their peers and their family. It was shown through multiple regression statistics of the three survey forms: the IPR, IFR and the MAST that youth now-a-days possess intimate relationship towards their peers as compared to their family.
