Description
Summary:The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of debt covenants of top commercial banks in Philippines on loans on the investment of publicly listed companies in the Philippines Stock Exchange. The first phase of the research involves surveys and interviews with the account officers of the top commercial banks. In order to validate this, we have consolidated the debt covenants from each commercial bank. The final phase of the research, we used the 2008 Chava and Roberts model in order to determine the effect of debt covenants on the investment of the respective companies. Through this, we found out that the debt covenants have no substantial impact on investments.
