Description
Summary:Prior research characterizes personal values as one of the factors, which affect the success of an organization. Identifying an individual's personal values would enable managers to select those people who are appropriate for a particular job since values influence behavior as well as managerial and corporate strategy decisions. The researchers conducted a study to determine the values and value types of accountancy and other business students, the future leaders of organization. By utilizing the Schwartz Value Survey, the researchers found out that there are significant differences in values and value types of business and economic students as between courses, year level, and gender.
