Gregorio, Ann Rozaine R. Tuloy Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that takes in children from the streets to provide them with a holistic upbringing that the life on the street will not be able to offer them. Food, shelter, clothing are not only provided, but also education, spiritual formation, and the transformation into becoming a better people to the country, and ultimately becoming a well-rounded person, are being taught by the people of Tuloy, which is led by Fr. Rocky Evangelista of Don Bosco School. In Tuloy's unending search for more donors that will support them in this worthy advocacy and because of the foundation's decreasing funds in being able to continue its operations, the problem of raising awareness within its community and the lack of strategies in sustaining relationships with current sponsors arise. Currently, Tuloy caters to 600 children in the foundation, yet remaining funds as of the moment are not enough to support the recurring needs of Tuloy children. With this, the researchers have proposed to help Tuloy in solving their communication problem through a public relations approach by highlighting significant results obtained from the related literature and the one on one interviews with experts in the field of both public relations and in the world of running non-profit organizations, which method is also based on the literature. Findings suggested by the books and journals recommend that Tuloy should create strategies to raise awareness and sustain long-term partnerships, and create a communication material to take the raising awareness strategy further. In the same light, extensive one on one interview have also advised strategies, messages and materials that Tuloy should use in executing what the literature has influenced them to do for Tuloy. In conclusion, to fully maximize and utilize the ideas from the sufficient literature and key informant interviews, the researchers will use the thesis paper to come up with a public relations plan which will be reflected on the strategies and programs, and a prototype of the communication material. With these in mind, the researchers will be able to help Tuloy by raising awareness and to sustaining relationships with current sponsors with this plan. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/6568 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Communication Public relations Advocacy advertising Organizational Communication
