Summary: | In the field of engineering, transient heat conduction is widely dealt and encountered. It poses an indispensable use in various laboratory experiments and industrial processes as well. The nature of unsteady-state process is so complicated that it entails systematic analysis or thorough comprehension. This thesis aims to interface the experimental objects with the computer for simultaneous acquisition of the temperature-time data at different points in the solid. The gathered data are vividly presented as temperature-time profile in graphical form. Further studies of heat transfer are extended as for the determination of the thermal conductivity of the material. |
