Description
Summary:This study focuses on alternative ideas for improvement of home security and surveillance system. This combination of ideas includes using different types of sensors for detection, several components for tracking, and software design for manual control of the whole system. The study uses laser emitters for long range detection and PIP sensors for close range detection. When one or more sensors are triggered, the system will send an alert to the owner via SMS. In addition to that, a sound and light alarm is included to alert the owner when at least one of the PIR sensors detect movement. When the sensors are triggered, the camera will follow the movement of the intruder. A spray paint mechanism will activate in order to tag the criminal a certain color, allowing easy identification for informing the authorities. All of these systems are controlled using SMS commands via an original app design that also allows remote viewing of the area.
