Description
Summary:This paper documents the developed software package-CAI in Physics Mechanics-which is a supplement to the usual classroom instruction process. Lessons or topics covered in Physics Mechanics are presented in chapters which are further subdivided into sections. In each section, major concepts and methods are explained through brief discussion and examples which are typical of their common applications. Exercises are also included after the section which requires further explanations through direct and practical applications of the concept. To better equip the students in dealing with Physics Mechanics problems, three problem sets are also provided after each chapter. This CAI was designed to operate under FLEX TEXT mode to facilitate the combination of the text and graphics modes which cannot be achieved by simply using the capabilities of the Applesoft. Koala Software and the graphics capability of Applesoft were utilized for graphics display while PRINT statements were used for the text presentation of the lessons. Included in this documentation, are its Hierarchy Diagram, Design Features and Considerations, System Requirements, Module Specifications and the User's Manual.
