Description
Summary:The Computer-Aided Instruction on Discrete-Time Signal Processing is a product of modern multimedia tools. These tools are used to effectively represent different topics under Discrete-Time Signal Processing. Lessons conveyed via this computer-aided instruction would be beneficial to the lecturer, the students and as well as individuals with interest on signal processing. The lessons are developed using Macromedia Flash and are presented in both the spoken and visual media. The spoken media is made using Sony Sound Forge. Users will be presented with an ample amount of simulations, interactivity, graphics, exams, and animations. The Computer-Aided Instruction is programmed using Macromedia Dreamweaver and PHP scripting. The database is structured using MySQL. The system is installable and operable in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Web Server and Linux Web Server. It can also run on a single MS Windows-based machine as Standalone mode or can be viewed on-line through an Internet connection. The Computer-Aided Instruction made is very flexible. The content of the whole system can be changed by the administrator without even changing program scripts. This is the main function of the system wherein the content can be easily changed by uploading the new desired content. The user-friendly design of the system should help the administrator or lecturer in delivering information to the users of the site.
