Observed with the growing number of student population in different schools, the improvement of the present educational system becomes the next major objective of every educational institution. The need for a more reliable educational system was brought about by the growing student population. Trinitas School, one of the most reputable schools in Meycauayan, Bulacan, foresee this other schools' dilemma before hand. The continuous increase in the number of students enrolling per school year brings tremendous problems in paperwork and file management. The increase in the student population causes adverse effects. For one, this would mean more paperwork for the school personnel, more equipment and facilities that would consume space, more teachers to hire and more classrooms to allocate. This is one scenario that most school administrators hope to resolve before things blow out of proportion. Other complications caused by this main problem are the scheduling of classrooms and teachers, student billing and enrollment procedures. With these in mind, the proponents tried to come up with an information system that would eliminate the problems brought about by the routinary procedures. The Trinitas School Information System (TSIS) is intended to alleviate the manual routines with a methodical and orderly flow of processes. It includes vital processes such as student admissions, student billing, enrollment system, and course scheduling. With all of the processes in the new system computerized, the speed and the reliability of the procedures will be greatly enhanced. The TSIS will aid the school administrators by providing facilities for scheduling of classrooms and teachers, automatic updating of student accounts and generation of student reports such as transcript of records and class lists. TSIS will be very user-friendly as it is designed with window-like screens and easy-to-understand displays. The proponents presupposes that with the implementation of the new system the problems faced by Trinitas School will finally be addressed. 1997-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7055 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Computerized enrollment system Computers--Educational use Information system Computer networks File organization (Computer science) Management--Data processing Management--Computer programs
