Ramirez, Olivia B. Tiongco, Ma. Othelie F. Hanggang sa Huling Sandali is an organizational video documentary on the Patient Outreach Services of the Philippine Cancer Society. It has a running time of exactly twenty-three (23) minutes. It showcases a number of testimonies of the beneficiaries and the volunteers which are composed of medical and lay persons. The video was created for purposes of soliciting voluntary assistance from the lay persons and medical professionals. Likewise, the video is also seen as a tool in appealing to other members of the private sector to motivate them to donate financial support to enable Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) to continue its public service to those who are in the terminal stage of cancer. In editing the video, the proponents made use of facilities in dubbing all raw footages in proper sequence to Umatic work tapes which will be used in on-line editing making use of Betacam equipment. However, for purposes of the scheduled defense the proponent had the release copy which is in a Betacam tape dubbed to another Umatic tape. For evaluation purposes, the proponents scheduled two Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The first FGD was composed of members of the PCS administration and volunteers to check if all objectives were met by the video. The second FGD was then scheduled and was composed of students from the Communication Department to ensure that all technical requirements were satisfied by the video. 1995-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7166 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Corporation, Nonprofit Cancer--Societies, etc. Documentary television programs
