The image is then captured as an 8-bit palette color Tag Image File Format (TIFF). The Viewtif software reads and displays the captured image and is then manipulated using image processing techniques. After the processing stage, the image is then matched with existing color templates to detect the color codes present in the PCB. With each color code representing a drill-hole size and the location (X and Y) of the hole in millimeters, the drilling machine is then controlled by the Numcon software to proceed to the specified location and initiate the drilling process. The Numcon software embodies the control routines for the drilling machine. All software was implemented using Turbo C++. 1995-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7199 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Electronic digital computer Image processing Drilling and boring machinery Automatic control Electronic digital computers -- Programming Digital electronics |
