Fua, Gabriel Joseph Herrera Gomez, Pocholo Monta Kho, Charito Cruz Santos, Dino Guerrero Generally, people are not aware or even concerned with their heart condition until their first mild stroke. Afterwards, these people become conscious of the importance of maintaining a good heart condition. The most common instrument for determining heart conditions is the stethoscope, but this provides minimal information about one's heart. A more advance instrument for monitoring heart behavior is the ECG monitor or the electrocardiograph. Through the ECG monitor, a patient's heart condition could be diagnosed with added precision due to the presentation of numerous vital statistics about the patient's heart obtained from the monitor. After the diagnosis, the doctor could give the patient his/her recommendations and prescribe proper medication. A problem arises if the patient needs to be relaxed and rested at all times. This project aims to eliminate the need for the patient with a heart ailment who must regularly visit the doctor through the use of a pc-based heart diagnostic system where the gathered data through the system will be sent to the patient's doctor for diagnosis. The doctor can then call the patient for his recommendations. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7201 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Electronic digital computers -- Programming Data transmission systems Analog-to-digital converters Electrocardiography Heart beat Computer interfaces Telephone lines Engineering
