Gallardo, Paul Ericson Mapagu, Jose Mari Sia, Nathaniel Continuous technological advancement and rapid transfer of information characterizes today's scientific field of development. Existing systems are continuously subjected to improvement and at times even a complete replacement. One can observe a distinctive increase in the need for speed and convenience in terms of the application of either existing or developing systems. It is with regard to this that one must stress the need to strive for continuous awareness to today's fast paced developing technologies. With the aforementioned conditions in mind, the group has decided to take on this endeavor concerning the study of Radio Frequency Identification System which consists of the tag, the reader or interrogator and a computer. This new and rising technology has found a seemingly unlimited supply of applications ranging from electronic article surveillance to telemetry. This system utilizes radio frequency or electromagnetic propagation to disseminate information contained in whatever memory storage system it utilizes to an awaiting receiver and decoder counterpart. This system is used to automatically identify an article or entity containing the tag and provides corresponding information using the data stored in the computer interfaced to the reader. Application dependency dictates the type and performance level designed for each RFID system. A block by block study of this technology will lead to a clear understanding as to how this system generally works. It incorporates modulation and demodulation of frequency signals, power control system, signal locking, computer interfacing and surface mount technology. 1997-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7216 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Electronic systems Radio frequency Signal theory (Telecommunication) Electronic circuit design Computer interfaces Data transmission systems Digital Circuits Digital Communications and Networking Systems and Communications
