Summary: | One to sawa, para sa wala is an 18-minute documentary about how General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital, a rural government hospital, is coping with the massive emigration of health workers. The hospital is greatly affected with the loss of health workers, particularly its nurses. This forces the institution to employ creative but temporary solutions in hiring new personnel and extending work hours for its staff. But the hospital, being under the supervision of the provincial government, will only make do with what the latter gives them. Moreover, the government and health workers do not have the same understanding of the problem, thus leaving the hospital's problem on the loss of its health workers unresolved. |
