Sinag is a story of love, loss and reunion that focuses on the relationship and gap between a father and daughter due to familial conflicts, and how they are able to resolve it after a series of events. This 16-minute short film highlights the underlying theme which is the value of family and attempts to address and further look into the issue of broken families, extramarital affairs and its effects to the children, which the proponents consider relevant due to the romanticizing of the media. Sinag in its entirety features a dramatic intensity of events with the goal to touch hearts and make people appreciate the mere presence of their family members, especially their parents.
