Summary:The proposed CASICO-IIS is composed of four departments---the Personnel, Inventory, Sales and Production departments. Handling all the personnel information, and the company's payroll system will be the Personnel Department. The task of preparing stocks for sale, and maintaining the availability of stocks on hand will be shouldered by the Inventory Department. The task of communicating and transacting with customers, preparing the needed information and the various forms needed to complete the business transaction will fall under the Sales Department. Last but not the least, is the Production Department. As the very bloodline of the company, the Production Department carries the responsibility of the crucial task of preparing and scheduling production processes, and finally, preparing the finished goods as input to the inventory. Integrated Information System for Catmon Sales International Corporation (CASICO-IIS) was created with the aim of providing CASICO a more systematic, faster but reliable work flow. It would also provide and make available to management and key personnel the proper dissemination of the data but taking into consideration system security, and a more capable file storage scheme. Thus, making employees increase productivity in their day-to-day task. Furthermore, the vision of acquiring technological advancement through the utilization of information system for information processing will provide the company an edge towards the growing competitors in the lumber industry.
