The Facilities Block Mapping System for PLDT is a Geographic Information System that is designed specifically for the Facilities Section of PLDT Sampaloc. FBMS will assist the department in their daily operations and functions. FBMS will feature a geographic representation of the map of Sampaloc. The system will show the specific location of the PLDT terminals and posts. FBMS will be able to pinpoint the location of a terminal, given the address, in the map. A spanning facility is also provided whereby the system will locate to what terminal a given line could be installed. Information such as cable and terminal numbers, adjacent terminals and a list of good and bad pairs is also provided.
