An assessment of the measures taken by the IMF In managing the Asian financial crisis on selected Asian Countries
The IMF has been chastened, challenged and castigated for its response to the crisis. Their actions towards the supposedly easing of the impacts of the crisis posed a lot of criticisms, which led to a greater need for the institution to rethink its role that is tasked to bring economic stability.
