A liquidity problem, in any manufacturing firm, is unavoidable . AG & P foundry, be it the leading foundry in the Philippine industry, encounters liquidity problems once in a while aside from its other problems. The Technical Committee of AG & P decides on this problem. Since this liquidity problem affects the foundry most, the researchers developed a Decision Support system for the financial management aspect of AG & P foundry. The system, Financial Management System for AG & P foundry or FIMS, is a decision support system that is capable of supporting decisions for any set of existing interrelated records regarding profit, sales and expenses--as its main function. This decision making process includes proposal evaluation, financial analysis, and sensitivity analysis. FIMS is also capable of accepting, storing, modifying, deleting, and retrieving data from files. Further details are discussed in the succeeding chapters. The system would be implemented to check its efficiently and capability and the researchers strongly recommend further studies on financial management systems.
