Summary:This study is intended to better understand the gendered context of forgiveness between the ages of 17-20. The study is concentrated on the three close relationships namely, family, friends and romantic partners of the person on how he or she forgives them. The Content Analysis was used to analyze the data. The In-Depth Interview Method was conducted on twelve respondents, six males and six females, to obtain a more thorough insight of the different experiences on forgiving. Results show that males and females differ in terms of affect and behavior towards betrayal.
