Latorre, Juan Gabriel A. Manikan, Miguel Manuel A. Suarez, Jose Antonio L. The focus of this study is about relationship of outgroup status and pleasure being moderated by guilt. The study made use of responses that came from 110 participants from DLSU-M. The primary goal of this research was to test whether outgroup status would influence schadenfreude. The three factors present to make up schadenfreude are negative attitudes, superiority and inferiority, and ingroups and outgroups. The researchers then hypothesized that when guilt was high, the feelings of pleasure was low whereas when guilt was low, feelings of pleasure was high. Based on the statistics, the results did not support the hypotheses. Further into the study, the researchers discovered no insignificance of moderator between the relationship of outgroup status and pleasure. 2019-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7891 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Guilt Pleasure Psychology
