But most of the available literature only focuses on a single predictor. This study aimed to determine the possible predictors of prosocial behavior particularly: parenting styles (permissive, authoritative and authoritarian), student-teacher relationship, peer relationship and personality (over controlled, under controlled and resilient). A survey containing questionnaires about the four perceived major predictors and prosocial behavior was administered to 200 students from De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. The gathered data was analyzed using multiple linear regression and correlation analysis.
