As such, the presence of several Japanese firms in Metro Manila caused us to wonder just how Japanese men and women spend their time here. No formal research has been done on the lifestyle of Japanese working women in Metro Manila for the purpose of understanding the Japanese better, and the researchers took this rare opportunity to do a study about the several social and environmental factors affecting the lifestyle of Japanese working women living in Metro Manila. The researchers conducted interviews with the Japanese working women living in Metro Manila. The willingness and cooperation the Japanese working women gave were highly valuable in making this thesis possible. They gave answers sufficient for the data we needed. The actual question-and-answer interview was being recorded by a cassette recorder and subsequently translated into English by the researchers, who tried their best to maintain the exact equivalent of the interviewees' Nihongo in English. This study is for the benefit of all the Filipinos who are eager to understand an aspect of Japanese culture as shown in the lifestyle of Japanese working women in the Philippines. The researchers hoped that this thesis will be valuable and efficient to bridge the gap between Filipino and Japanese culture by understanding the Japanese better. 1998-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8063 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Japanese, Women Women--Employment Life style Philippines |
