Description
Summary:Jealousy is a common emotion among romantic partners. This study wishes to point out the process in how this phenomenon unfolds among adolescents. Here, jealousy is seen as a process with stages or sub-processes. These stages or processes to be studied include (1) the trigger or the event, (2) the individual's beliefs and expectations of his/her current relationship, and (3) assessment of the situation and the corresponding strategy used to cope with the situation. Since processes delve into the past, present and future scenarios, this study will also tap and assess the situation in each time frame narratively.
