Computer Assisted Instruction is the use of the computer for facilitation and certification of learning-that is, using the computer to make learning easier and more likely to occur, as well as using the computer to create a record proving that learning has occurred. The MuLISP PRIMER was developed with the intention to assist in the teaching and learning of muLISP-83, as a supplementary material. It presents discussions on the history and background of LISP and muLISP-83. It also provides discussions on the different muLISP-83 commands. Programming techniques in LISP are also discussed with simulations to illustrate the functions given. A Help facility presents instructions on moving about the MuLISP PRIMER. A Glossary and Command facility offer a quick reference definition of terms and commands. The Query facility of the MuLISP PRIMER provides the user-software interface with the user of query statements using pre-defined formats industry, is for the study of AI. It is also used in such fields as robotics, expert systems, natural language translation, theorem proving, medical diagnosis, game playing and program verification. MuLISP, a subset language of LISP developed by MicroSoft, is designed to meet the current microcomputer requirements for the development of Artificial Intelligence applications. Its intended users are enthusiastic microcomputer users who want to learn AI principles. it is a sophisticated software package developed by Albert Rich for microcomputers. It has been implemented in several microprocessors like the 8080, 280, 8086, 8088, and 6502. It is mainly designed for supporting AI research. It is a very powerful tool used for developing AI software projects. 1990-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8183 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository LISP (Computer program language) List processing (Electronic computers) Computer systems Electronic digital computers--Programming |
