Saling-pusa: A short feature on dealing with loss

During the term of a former president, human rights have been violated when forced disappearances and torture among government prisoners occurred. Today, these same rights are being fought for as extrajudicial killings transpire among the poor as part of the campaign of the current president against drugs. Saling-pusa is an 11-minute drama. The short feature is about Danilo, an old man who lost his son during the Martial Law, and his encounter with Aron, a young boy whose father was a victim of the ongoing drug war. Danilo shares a familiar sense of loss with Aron, leading to a connection between the two opposing personalities. The short feature is juxtaposition of two different perspectives on loss, and how the two characters deal with such.
