Description
Summary:Photographs of Theophillus, Catharina, Piccolomini and other craters were taken using the 16-inch Mishimura telescope. These photographs were then converted into digitized graphics files. A developed computer program measured the depths of the crater images contained in these files. The program measured the shadow pixel distances of the craters that were present. Computed depths of Piccolomini, Catharina, Polybius, Rothmann and Stiborius are 14, 512.06 ft, 25,216.06 ft, 10,062.31 ft, 12,886.04 ft. and 10,062.31 ft. respectively.
