However, the problem that occurs now is the medium that would properly interface magnetic card readers to a computer system. This is the problem that was addressed by this project. The data gathered for use in this project was based mostly on interviews and research works on related literature. The group interviewed people working in the field of computer technology, and other related fields. These people helped largely in relating the problems and standards of operations, and in giving personal assessments during the course of development of the hardware components. Researches made involved trips to the library to read on relate articles from magazines, encyclopedias, text books, operations manuals, and others. The group has gathered all its knowledge based on the studies in courses like Computer Programming 1, 11, and 111, Computer Systems 1, Electronics 1 and 11, Digital Design, Microprocessor 1 and 11 and Data Communications to come up with the hardware and software designs of the system. Adding to this knowledge is the group's experience in project handling, researches, the individual readings of its members and the invaluable support coming from its advisers and teachers. Through the effort of its members, the group has produced a working prototype of an electronic bundy clock completely documented with a user's manual and reference guide for future users of the system. The documentation contains all schematic diagrams and full explanations on different theories and designs that would give thorough information to the reader regarding the prototype, its functions, underlying design, operations and utilization procedures.
