Ortigas, Rafael B. Concrete Aggregates Corporation (CAC) is a semi-construction, semi-manufacturing firm. To keep in pace with today's competitive market, CAC needs to develop its Management Information Systems department and utilize to its fullest the benefits it may offer. This plan was designed to answer the current needs of CAC based from concluded problems. The methodology of study used was based from the procedures defined in the Business Systems Planning (BSP) manual.A Management Information System (MIS) department has its defined function - to optimize the use of computer systems to gather related data and turn it into processed information for top management use. In CAC, that is not the case. Having an unorthodox place in the organizational chart, the MIS department functions under the confines of another department. Obviously, it has its flaws and disadvantages.Problems were raised, and solutions were formulated. After a thorough evaluation of its current needs, the authors (the study team) have presented a number of recommendations, both on business and technical aspects, that it believes would give the utmost advantages to the firm.May it serve as a foundation and a stepping stone for the development of future projects in the field of Management Information Systems. 1993-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/8240 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Management information systems Information storage and retrieval systems Construction industry Computers--Business use
